Summary:
The Perioperative Readiness Technician role is responsible for assisting the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities and assisting the physician/advanced practice practitioner in patient care tasks associated with assessment and optimization of the patient for surgery.

Key duties include phlebotomy, taking vitals, rooming patients and associated tasks for this day shift, per diem role.

Location- MMC Portland Brighton Ave Campus

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of experience preferred. One year of experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Perioperative Services Technician II.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
