We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will focus on multiple strategic channels (Independent, Buy Group, Distribution, and Hardware) across several regions within the continental Unites States. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing effective strategic plans to meet customer and company objectives. This role's primary purpose is to expand and enhance established customer relationships through diligent relationship building and account growth. The Regional Sales Manager will deliberately lead and direct the vision, set the course of action, and execute the business plan for each of their accounts.This position reports to the National Sales Manager. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth for focus territories.
- Work alongside addition sales team members to develop accurate sales forecast and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of internal/external sales representatives to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Develop a seasonal/annual business plan that outlines growth, category, assortment distribution, and promotional objectives.
- Coordinate and execute numerous consumer and industry trade shows, ensuring seamless planning, logistics, and on-site activation to maximize brand presence and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Advise accounts concerning product, promotional, and advertising opportunities.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external resources to develop and manage the brand's go-to-market strategies, programs, and marketing assets. Communicates vision to all relevant customers.
- Presents Moultrie products in a well-prepared business case through presentations and storytelling that show how they meet customer needs and provide value and benefit, beyond the features and benefits.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business, or related field. (In lieu of degree may consider candidates with equivalent work experience.)
- 5+ years' experience with a proven track record of successfully growing regional and chain customers
- Buy Group, Distributor, and Hardware management experience
- Strong customer relations background and sales experience in B2B environment.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
