Spacesaver Corporation is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team! This role will work from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM and is eligible for our $3.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Spacesaver, you will be responsible for:

Communicating positively with all Spacesaver team members.
Performing maintenance-related activities on equipment, buildings, and grounds safely and proficiently.
Diagnosing and repairing complex equipment breakdowns. When needed, effectively communicating issues with OEM vendors and outside resources for rapid identification and resolution.
Performing Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training.
Suggesting changes and performing modifications to existing Spacesaver equipment and/or designs to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Safely and effectively operating lathes, vertical mills, pipe threaders, conduit benders, hydraulic presses, pneumatic and electric hand tools, material handling equipment, welders, plasma arc & cutting torches.

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge in 480V 3 phase systems, VFDs, and multimeters.
Ability to work at elevated heights up to 30 feet.
Proficiency in troubleshooting basic Start/Stop circuits, including ice cube relays and overloads.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical or associate's degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintaining industrial equipment (robotics, controls, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) Experience on equipment and automation consistent with a sheet metal fabrication, and painting operation preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of codes and regulations as they apply to an industrial maintenance role
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
