UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health - Cardiology Faculty

The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health, are seeking additional full-time faculty members for our expanding program. We are seeking Cardiology faculty with Advanced Heart Failure interest at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Applicants must be board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and preferably board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. They should have competency in Left Ventricular Assist Device and California licensed or eligible to obtain a California medical license. The successful candidate must have excellent clinical and procedural skills and preferably have completed an additional Advanced Heart Failure/ Transplant Fellowship. They should be willing to actively participate in medical education and have experience and interest in clinical medicine. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicants' background and accomplishments.

The UCSF Fresno Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, has an accredited 3-year fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Disease and 1-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, and 1-year non-accredited Advanced Imaging Fellowship. The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 60 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.

Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $375,000-$425,000.
