Job Summary

Are you passionate about patient-centered food services and leading a high-performing team? We're seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager to oversee our Patient Services Team in an acute care environment in Jersey City, NJ. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting and are committed to enhancing patient satisfaction, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do:
  • Lead & Develop a Team - Hire, train, mentor, and empower a skilled patient services team to deliver top-tier food service.

  • Ensure Patient-Centered Dining - Oversee food services that align with medical guidelines and dietary needs while enhancing the patient experience.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Expertise - Maintain compliance with HIPAA, dietary standards, and accrediting agencies to uphold quality care.

  • Drive Patient Satisfaction - Lead initiatives to improve patient experience, satisfaction scores, and food quality programs.

  • Collaborate & Innovate - Work with healthcare teams to optimize nutritional care and operational efficiencies.

  • Support Retail Cafe Operations - Assist in overseeing food services for staff and visitors, ensuring excellence across all touchpoints.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience - Associate or bachelor's degree in food service management or related field, with 1+ years of experience preferred in acute care settings.

  • Certifications - Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred. ServSafe certification is a plus.

  • Technical Skills - Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
