Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Day Shift, 4/10's 9:00am- 7pm, every other weekend included. Candidate will be orienting at Mt. Vernon hospital 5-6 weeks

Behavioral Health Safety Coach Job Responsibilities:

* Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern.
* Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee. Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting.
* Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization.
* Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Education: High School diploma or equivalent
* Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
* Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association- Upon Start. Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months

Preferred Qualifications:
* Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
