This position manages, coordinates, and evaluates all elements of laboratory services in assigned specialties of the Laboratory in support of quality laboratory service and the hospital's mission of patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Science), Histotechnology, or Cytotechnology as required by the area of responsibility/supervision. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Management. Demonstrate competency in service to different patient populations such as; Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics. Additional Job Description: This position will have primary management oversight for the Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics labs while working cooperatively with the other Lab Managers, Admin Director and Medical Directors. Successful candidate should be able to lead projects of varying sizes, have strong leadership and communication skills, and support the mission of the labs, hospital, and system.
