Logistics Specialist

• Manage, route, and confirm orders for your region
• Respond quickly and efficiently to inquiries
• Maintain communication to ensure all parties are updated on order statuses
• Build relationships with carriers, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments
• Ensure shipments are accurate, timely, and reliable
• Assist internal teams (Marketing, Warehouse, Sales) with traffic coordination
• Post and manage shipments online

• Some post-secondary education in traffic dispatching, order tracking, shipment cost analysis, rate quotation, and customs export compliance
• 2+ years of experience in obtaining quotes for multiple shipment types and identifying and solving logistical issues hindering order fulfillment
• 2+ years of experience in completing export customs paperwork for worldwide shipments, with a focus on Canadian requirements for NAFTA, SED, country of origin, and commodity code declarations
