Production Operator

Production Operator Details:

• Pay: 1st: $16.50, 2nd & 3rd: $17.50
• Requires flexibility to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays
• Must be able to work the dayshift the first 2 weeks for orientation and training
• Schedules/shifts fluctuate on a weekly basis and are based on the client's production needs
• The first day of work will be 3/10/25

Job Summary:

Production Operators will work in a variety of roles in food processing and packaging within our client's facility. Operators are responsible for maintaining the highest quality of food safety and sanitation standards. Duties also include performing daily audits and completing daily production paperwork.

Requirements of a Production Operator:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently
• At least 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing role preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate processing or packaging equipment as assigned
• Perform various checks, including a metal detector, date code, and weight systems checks
• Complete quality checks and associated daily production paperwork
• Assist with housekeeping cleaning duties including but not limited to restrooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, office areas, windows, conference rooms, and restocking supplies.
• Observe safety procedures
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Follow guidelines that require using a floor scrubber, I-mop, conventional mopping, vacuuming, detail cleaning, trash removal, and disinfecting of assigned areas in the facility.
