(Based on experience) Daily tasks: The role involves operating and monitoring machines to identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance issues, adjusting machine controls as needed. Responsibilities include studying blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions, sequence of operations, and setup requirements, as well as measuring and marking materials for machining. The position requires selecting and securing fixtures, tools, and materials, and adjusting machine controls for factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flow. It also includes verifying the accuracy of finished workpieces using measurement tools, performing trial runs to check machine settings, and collaborating with engineers and production staff to resolve issues. Additionally, the role involves completing necessary paperwork and computer entries. Qualifications: One year of previous machine operating experience. Must be mechanically inclined, have good eye hand coordination, ability to stand for long periods of time, and basic math skills. We have tons of perks!
