We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to act as a key business partner within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of income statements, GAAP, and software capitalization. Additionally, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience partnering with IT management teams would be a plus.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Reporting: Lead the budgeting process, including allocations and monthly variance analysis.
  • Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process by preparing accruals and re-class journal entries for both operational and capital expenditures.
  • Variance Analysis: Evaluate monthly actuals against forecasts, budgets, and prior year results, identifying key drivers of variances.
  • GAAP Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, particularly in relation to cloud-computing arrangements.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and long-term planning efforts.
  • Benchmark Analysis: Assist in conducting annual benchmark analysis for global IT spending.
  • Business Unit Allocations: Contribute to the preparation of business unit allocations.
  • Business Case Support: Collaborate on business case development, providing analysis and reporting on operating and capital expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly reports for P&L reviews and support post-project business case analysis to confirm achievement of business benefits.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Create ad-hoc financial reports and models to support management in making informed, data-driven decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience:

    • Senior level corporate finance or financial planning & analysis experience is required.
    • Additional experience partnering with IT leadership is preferred


  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Peoplesoft, TM1/Planning & Analytics, and Oracle BI is highly desirable.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to accuracy and detail is essential.
