Shipping operator

Your Opportunity: Label Works is seeking a full-time Shipping Operator!

Your Shift:

• Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production/processing operation including; cutters, slitters, and shrink wrappers

• Assist in Shipping by pre-boxing, scaling as well as preparing orders to include any special instructions

• Proof reading and quality checking product, boxing, and labeling of product

• Clean and maintain work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations

• This role will also assist in other departmental areas as workload requires

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

• Frequently required to move inside the facility

• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

You Must Have:

• Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English

• Ability to communicate professionally

• Strong attention to detail

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience in Manufacturing setting

• High school diploma or equivalent

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
