Test Manager

We are seeking a Test Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for creating and executing verification and validation processes and procedures for new product development. This involves overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure products meet quality standards and are free from errors or defects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
* Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
* Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
* Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Design and develop test plans and test cases for product releases in coordination with test engineers, software engineers and product development leadership.
* Tracks and reports on the state of the testing efforts during the development phase.
* Estimate, plan, design, and coordinate all aspects of the software product testing activities including execution, documentation, and reporting.
* Able to methodically exercise the product in order to discover discrepancies in the product, as well as being able to reproduce and communicate the steps to demonstrate the discrepancies.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and set up test environments for troubleshooting customer reported product issues.
* Understanding company and customer product requirements.
* Development of proper documentation to satisfy internal development procedures/practices, FDA, other regulatory quality systems, and/or product registration requirements.
* Drive improvements to the testing processes and product quality
* Proactively communicate with multiple internal departments such as Service, QA, Application Support, and Product Management team members
* All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
* Completed Bachelor of Science or Art degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related technical degree
* 6+ years of relevant testing experience with at least 4+ years of test lead experience.

Travel:
* This position is subject up to travel up to 25% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
