RN - Research Coordinator - Infant Phlebotomy - Full Time - Rotating

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Using established procedures, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Works collaboratively with the principal investigator to ensure that the objectives of the established research protocol are met and in compliance with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and sponsor guidelines. Identifies and recruits patients into study protocols and provides ongoing education and emotional support to patients. Demonstrates clinical competence. Reports to Principal Investigator/Administrative Leadership.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Graduate from a school of nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
  • One year of clinical research experience preferred.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
  • Looking for people with experience with infants, 24 months and younger, and phlebotomy experience for 12 months and younger
  • ICU and research experience is a plus
  • RN proficient with Baby and Pediatric venipuncture experience, Reliable Transportation, Flexible with driving to different clinics in Greater Metro Detroit area.
