BUDD Day Treatment is designed to meet the mental health needs of the developmentally disabled person in our community as well as the concerns of his/her family and support system. It is a program that helps individuals who are experiencing psychiatric illness and/or behavioral disturbances.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead social skills and coping skills groups centering on concentration on tasks, interpersonal relationships, vocational skills and personal issues.

  • Provide a safe environment and help teach social, emotional and ADL skills to clients.

  • Coordination of client services with program staff and other members of the client treatment team

  • Complete documentation in a timely manner

  • Attend and participate in assigned staff meetings and trainings.

  • Client crisis intervention

  • Perform other related professional duties required in order to provide quality clinical programming.

  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED/HiSet.
