Full Stack Java Developer

Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid)

Pay From: $50.00 per hour

MUST:

Full Stack Java Developer

Public Trust clearable, able to get a Secret

3-5 years of professional full-stack experience required

Agile experience required

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages

Demonstrated experience with Express.js building RESTful APIs with Node.js

Production experience with JavaScript frameworks including React.js and Node

Experience working with databases, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL , MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)

Familiarity with Material UI highly preferred

Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including API development and integration, data modeling, etc.

Experience with: git, cloud environments, test automation, and deployment infrastructure

Excellent communication skills

Preferred experience with data visualization, particularly for geospatial data

Preferred experience with the DOD, NASA, or commercial space operations

BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or mix of professional exp and education considered

DUTIES:

Responsible for both front and back-end systems development as part of an Agile software development team.

Integrating commercial applications with component processes and operations

Integrating existing applications, ensuring platforms work together seamlessly

Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software, applying industry best practices

Working as a team player in an Agile environment to deliver software solutions - working effectively with other software engineers, the project manager, subject matter experts, clients and other stakeholders

Proactively learning and utilizing new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to fulfill project requirements

Providing technical input to other areas and teams
