Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. ("Queen"), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally's jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally's portfolio. Bally's will also become the successor of Queen's significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
Operates main banks and serves as a central source of cash and cash equivalents for the Company and patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Opening/Closing cage staff and properties - Ensure that all main banks and cashier banks are opened, closed and verified daily in accordance with gaming regulations and make sure there is a smooth transition between shifts
- Supervision - Observe, assist and report on the frontline bankers and cashiers. Supervisors must help the frontline accomplish their daily duties
- Coach, Train and Review - All supervisors must help bankers and cashiers with understanding how to complete their daily task with accuracy and by company stay routine with completing all tasks by following company standards and procedures
- Coaching our cage team members through audit exception reports helps correct mistakes so they don't become frequent in the future
- Cover Breaks - Covering breaks for all bankers and cashiers is necessary when we are understaffed and at high business levels
- Drop Count Room Verification - All supervisors must have training and knowledge of the procedures on how to count, verify, and transfer drop funds in the soft count room on all properties. Also assist and train bankers and cashiers on the rules and procedures of verifying drop in the count rooms
- ATM/Ticket Kiosks - Supervisors must have training and knowledge of maintaining accurate and necessary cash levels in all kiosks. All supervisors must also have training and knowledge of minor repair and or communicating the local maintenance team to repair on-site at their earliest convenience
- Communication - All cage team are required to promptly notify management via email, phone, radio, or in person any issues or concerns that will need to be addressed
- Gaming Compliance - Supervisors and cage team members alike are responsible for ensuring all cage activities are in appropriate compliance with CDOG rules and regulations as they pertain to the cage and general overall daily casino compliance rules
- Closing shift variances - All supervisors are required to investigate, record, and report all cage variances
- Discipline and coaching- Supervisors are authorized to discipline when necessary to coach frontline cage employees as to what they see negatively effecting casino
Qualifications:
- Previous casino cage, credit, or players club experience preferred
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Must possess basic computer skills and be knowledgeable with casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and timekeeping programs.
- Data entry and typing skills preferred.
- Ability to balance shift and cage.
- Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, and regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
