Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Sentara Careplex Hospital - Hampton, VA Temporary Full Time & Swing Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm Call Requirement: 30 minute response time, 2 weekend shifts (7am-7pm on call) per 6-week schedule $60.00/hr Temporary Full Time SWING shift 14-week assignment No benefits Minimum Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery TS-C - Certification - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - Virginia Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) TS - Trade School Graduate - Surgical Technologist Previous Operating Room experience Job Description: Implements plan of care for specific patient population. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment. May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program. Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.
