Description
The Home for Little Wanderers' Cove School is seeking a Special Ed Teacher (Certified) for it's Plymouth, MA campus. The SPED Teacher will work with a dynamic team of motivated educators to integrate social/emotional learning and a community-building approach to student-centered education. They will create and implement creative, hands-on instruction and participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs); collaborate with a creative team of classroom teachers and special educators to differentiate individualized curriculum; utilize therapeutic intervention activities in the classroom (additional training provided). Teaches in a dynamic classroom focused on establishment of developing and strengthening executive function and social/emotional skills along with academic support for students age 12-16.
