JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Technician performs a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and service to the corporate facilities and provides supervision of janitorial and routine maintenance employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

* Assist with scheduling maintenance and preventative maintenance on all corporate facilities.

* Assists in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.

* Paints interior and exterior walls and cabinets; hangs pictures as required.

* Replaces washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repairs leaky faucets and cleans clogged drains.

* Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.

* Installs, relocated and modifies electrical services and fixtures. * Repairs and installs new equipment / machines.

* Repairs and installs HVAC

* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Strong work ethic and initiative.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

* Demonstrated ability to be service oriented (responds to/meets the needs of internal customers).

* Dedicated to team success and a team player.

* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Building/equipment and grounds maintenance

* 2 years in HVAC and electrical

* Class E drivers license with good driving record

Work Environment:
* Entails exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, may be exposed to loud aircraft noise, fumes, gasses, odors, dust particles and mechanical/electrical and chemical hazards.

Required Equipment:
* Personal tools specific to aircraft maintenance.
* Dependable personal car.
