A Brief Overview The Inpatient Global Patient Services (GPS) Nurse Practitioner (NP) will partner with key leaders and team members within GPS to support the care of Global Patient Services hospitalized patients. This position is primarily responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the hospital to deliver safe, high quality, and family-centered care coordination and to achieve shortened inpatient length of stay. The Inpatient GPS NP will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal providers to ensure clinical and operational effectiveness and may provide support of institutional initiatives with a focus on safety, quality, operational excellence, financial stewardship, patient-family experience, cultural awareness, physician practice and wellness, and promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration as it relates to global patients. This role will also communicate and build relationships with external constituents (i.e., embassy, International Patient Committee, international insurance) as well as providing follow-up care to GPS patients in GPS Clinic (12th Floor Buerger). Provide clinical and follow-up care as a Nurse Practitioner at CHOP. In collaboration with an attending physician, you'll work with a patient population that matches your delineation of privileges and skill set; collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals; and engage in professional development, education, and research. Manage a cohort of patients, perform and document daily assessments, collect data, and analyze findings to inform family-centered plans of care.

Experience Qualifications
