High Risk Account Analyst - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position. You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Supports the Compliance Department by maintaining the Credit Union's high-risk accounts.
- Develops and maintains adequate policies and procedures to manage and monitor high-risk accounts.
- Proactively cultivates high risk account relationships, conducts onsite visits, collects documentation, and validates account activity to ensure business members are operating within compliance regulations.
- High risk accounts may include, but are not limited to, MSBs, MRBs, and hemp-related businesses. Monitors trends and changes in regulations and advises management of potential impact.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
- BSA Certification required within 180 days of hire.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
- Experience or training in regulatory compliance, risk, audit, or appropriate experience for a financial institution.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk, audit or appropriate experience related to the financial industry.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Must be analytical and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be highly detailed and task oriented.
