Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The production director is integral to bringing innovative drug products to needy clients.
  • In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Operations and be primarily responsible for directing the day-to-day production activities to achieve corporate objectives at the site.
  • The Director of Production will oversee and lead a team of production personnel to successfully deliver quality finished radiopharmaceutical products on time and by the production schedule.
  • Additional responsibilities will include working with the Director of Operations to prepare the site for scalability as we pursue commercialization goals and expanded pipeline products.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the production team, including the manager(s), supervisor(s), operator(s), and associate(s).
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to triage deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
  • Represent production for the internal and external technical transfer of future projects.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure production schedule adherence.
  • Assist the Director of Operations in mentoring and developing key production team members.
  • Align with leadership on the Isotope Production team to ensure GMP compliance and synergy across all site operations.
  • Work with Quality, Validation, Engineer Services, and Facility Engineering counterparts to develop and implement novel radiopharmaceutical technologies successfully.
  • Work with the EM/Microbiology team to ensure that contamination control strategies are followed and that any OOT or OOS issues are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and manage production-related performance metrics.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with production-related budgeting.
  • Ensure production personnel comply with site EHS and Radiation Safety programs and promote a safety culture.
  • Review, author, or revise technical documents (SOPs, forms, deviations) as needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $1,85,000 - 2,10,000/ year.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Direct Placement.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing a cGMP injectable or radiopharmaceutical environment.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in production leadership and management.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in creating and managing production-related metrics.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in industry-related electronic systems (ERP, EQMS).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
