JOB SUMMARY
Works under minimal supervision to provide advanced administrative support in coordinating day-to-day operations of the HR Services Department and serves as the primary administrative support for the Assistant Vice President of HR Services. This position will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and provide support to the HR team in areas such as recruitment onboarding, payroll, employee data management, and leave administration. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping create a positive workplace experience for our employees.
Candidates with human resources experience, in addition to PeopleSoft and UKG Kronos experience, strongly preferred.

JOB DUTIES
- Primary administrative support for the Assistant Vice President for the HR Services Department.
- Responsible for creating and fostering excellent customer service experience.
- Must be able to think creatively, analytically, and strategically on projects or tasks that require independent work.
- Oversees special events for department by coordinating committees and schedules and by staying within budget.
- Coordinates project management duties for new initiatives.
- Coordinates various projects and programs within the department ensuring all tasks are completed by established deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensures there is a positive internal and external working relationship.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
- Organizes office procedures to ensure effective operation.
- Acts as department liaison with other departments and agencies.
- Determines work priorities and monitors progress toward work deadlines.
- Manages and oversees office services functions including office equipment, supplies and vendors.
- Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences.
- Focuses on Customer: Encourages candid exchange of ideas; articulates views clearly and directly; expresses facts clearly; communicates quickly issues affecting staff.
