Description TEKsystems is looking for a Server Engineer/System Administrator. This role is a great opportunity to join a team whose main objective is to ensure the stability of the operations in order to help the enterprise achieving its productivity objectives. The role will encompass direct contact and collaboration with local and/or remote experts, third party stakeholders and internal functions of our operations such as Automation, Engineering, Procurement and others. Prioritize the Health, Safety and Environment, including creation of Job Hazard Analysis or Safe Work Procedure related to IT tasks Interface with customers and stakeholders on a regular basis Proactively manage preventative maintenance tasks, and risk-analysis associated with service incidents and problems Trigger critical incident management based on observed alarms, issues and requests; escalate issues to other teams or vendors as required, and ensure timely resolution Ensure that all change management follows a high level of standard when it comes to quality control and respect of the specifications or standards. Provide training or coaching to clients where required. Drive cost control initiatives, and decision-making, strategy, and prioritization. Provide coaching to the local IS&T team on IS&T tools and processes Develop and maintain professional relationships with local providers and teams from different regions around the globe Roles This job posting is a combination of a network engineer as well as a server specialist - Assist PM for all project's Network design and execution tasks (Network SME) - Assist PM for all project's Server design and execution tasks (Server SME) Objectives - Assist PM for all project's Network design and execution tasks (Network SME) - Assist PM for all project's Server design and execution tasks (Server SME) Qualifications - Network graduate - Server graduate - At least 3 years of experience Configure, install and maintain Dell Server, storage, and back-up equipment. Provide support to project team members with accountability to Project / Program Managers. Maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to unsure CI's are documented and decommissioned CI'S are removed. Coordinate and plan all change management and service transition to support activities following Rio Tinto process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
