THE JOB / Senior Account Executive, Client Services (Technology Client)

CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT or New York, NY, and/or at client's Philadelphia, PA office.***

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to execute the operational elements of a prominent PGA TOUR Official Marketing partnership with a Fortune 500 company. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a passion for golf and the ability to manage multiple projects, with acute attention to detail. The SAE must have a proven background in client service and event management logistics.

This person will work closely with the Account Director and Vice President who oversee the client account within the golf sponsorship space, along with their agency and property partners.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO



  • Coordinate the project management of multiple programs within client's golf platform across various initiatives and programs, including planning, execution, and measurement/evaluation
  • Independently lead task action spreadsheet creation, alongside ongoing management of tasks, as well as client-facing materials
  • Serve as a trusted and reliable agency contact for client sponsorship team, internal client departments, and agency partners
  • Ensure contractual compliance and fulfillment of sponsorship assets, and manage the day-to-day logistics of implementing various activation elements, including contractual assets, CRM initiatives, and more
  • Ensure various agency partners are aligned and informed on timelines, as well as keep projects moving alongside target deadlines and budgets

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • 3-5 years of marketing/event experience
  • Professional/amateur golf experience is a strong plus
  • Proven project management experience
  • Eagerness to make an overall account contribution with new projects and ideas
  • Strong communication (both written and oral) and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)


This position pays $50,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
