Sentara Health is seeking a passionate IT leader to join our team as to join our team as Director IT Clinical Systems (PACS/ Epic)

This position is 100% Remote -Candidates must have a current residence in one of the follow states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming !

A Director typically manages a department or small unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leaders. Responsibilities typically include: * Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department. * Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis. * Requires the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and the ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.

Areas of responsibility include all Epic and non-Epic applications and technology in support of the procedural and clinical imaging systems. Successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Epic procedural modules, application and technical experience implementing and supporting PACS systems, and strong knowledge and experience related to operational and clinical workflows. This leader will be responsible for build, support, integrations, implementations, optimization, prioritization, change control, process improvement, budget management, etc.

Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

8 relevant years' experience with a degree

10 relevant years' of experience without a degree

5 years of leadership experience

Salary Range $132,622 - $246,376

Job Summary

General Information Technology work involves managing or performing work across multiple areas of an organization's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of: * IT Systems Software, Hardware, and Databases * Data & Voice Networks * Data Processing Operations * End User Technology & Software Support Conducts cost/benefit analyses for proposed IT projects as input to the organization's IT roadmap.
