Regional Operations Manager, Retail Bank, First Level Officer The Regional Operations Manager role will maintain an in-depth knowledge of banking center related automation systems and procedures, as well as analyze and implement banking center related system/procedure changes, provide feedback as it impacts the banking center distribution system. In addition, the role will participate in projects such as software installations, banking center openings/closings, and banking center facility renovations and improve workflow techniques. All activities are to be focused on the efficient operation of the banking center system with the stated purpose to improve sales and customer service. Position Competencies Successful incumbents have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, drive for results and presentation skills. Position Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative and consistent guidance on corrective action measures to be taken for differences, losses, attendance, punctuality, cash count discrepancies, etc. for non-exempt employees.
- Assist with documentation and training of operational corrective actions.
- Oversee self-audits at all banking centers as well as conduct the Banking center Operational Reviews.
- Provide oversight and follow-up to ensure banking centers are incompliance with various regulations (i.e. Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. DD, CTR/MCTR, etc.). Review periodic operational reports and follow up where appropriate.
- Ensure banking centers have completed required CBT courses and other regulatory videos or training.
- Attend and assist banking centers after robberies.
- Respond to banking centers shipment variance requests.
- Provide non-sales training i.e. Anti-Money Laundry, new procedures, transaction authority, etc.
- Identify and implement banking center specific workflow efficiencies and provide feedback to Market Operations on procedures that affect all banking centers.
- Attend monthly meeting and then communicate to banking centers about operational changes.
- Assist and elevate need for equipment repair/replacement. Assist with Facility issues and outstanding work orders.
- Represent banking centers and Regional Managers on operational project teams.
- Assist with the opening, closing, relocation, and remodeling of banking centers.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- 5 years in retail bank branch management or retail bank branch operation support position
- 5 years of coaching, counseling, and training employees
- 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days

- California - $66,700 - $127,500 Annually
