Senior Account Manager

About the role:

Our team provides highly tailored peer review, billing and payment, and production management software solutions to top scholarly publishers around the world. Our customers include the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, eLife, the American Association for Cancer Research, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and many other prestigious academic societies and organizations. We are currently looking to fill a full-time position for an Account Manager.

How you will make an impact:

  • Work closely with new and existing customers to facilitate software configuration changes and troubleshoot user issues and software defects
  • Manage the complete process of setting up new sites for customers
  • Train customers on new sites and features
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the software development team to gather requirements, prepare product specifications, and perform software quality assurance testing
  • Create and maintain software documentation

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and solution research skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication (English)
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers from non-technical backgrounds
  • An empathic and friendly attitude, willingness to advocate for customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and SQL preferred
  • Technical background preferred
  • Customer Service experience preferred
