This position will be posted from January 8, 2025 - January 22, 2025.

What you will do:



  • Design, create, read and interpret Piping & Instrument Diagram's (P&ID's), process flow diagrams, plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD (required), and Microstation.
  • Design, create, read and interpret Instrumentation and Control drawings, e.g. tag lists, cable lists, equipment lists, control panel layouts, bill of materials, schematics, plot plans.
  • Perform walk downs on site to field verify and as built of the above documents.
  • Communicate directly with project team to generate project versions of the above documents and coordinate conflicts and discrepancies between documents and actual built conditions.
  • Learn INtools (Smart Instruments) tocreateinstrument loops (specifically loop sheets).
  • Stay on top of industry trends and bring forward suggestions for new tools and technologies, e.g. 3-D Modeling.
  • Interpret and apply, PIP & ISA standards, applicable codes, and other regulatory requirements to designs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with technical professionals to create and maintain drawings sets.
  • Review software updates and propose new workflows to evolve with industry best practices.
  • Setup, manage and archive project files properly. Includes participating in the electronic document management system (Meridian) as the subject matter expert for the proprietary engineering team.



What you will bring:



  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or related field; experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • 2+ years of process industry experience required.
  • Engineering background with experience supporting / designing engineering systems strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to read and comprehend Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&ID's) and process flow diagrams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to sketch and communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.
  • Knowledge of appropriate use of pipe fittings and materials in industrial applications with ability to identify pipe sizes / valve types / equipment from the field.



Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $65,300 - $121,200/annually. This range is estimated forTechnologist II, Draftingin the State of Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Details will be discussed through the application process.
