SummarY: The Planning & Scheduling Specialist II is monitoring inventory stock for availability to ship prior to due dates.

Responsibilities:



  • Pay Plant 12 invoices from suppliers.
  • Order entry of Direct Container customer orders
  • Pay direct container invoices from suppliers.
  • Pay Plant 5 import parts invoices from suppliers.
  • Review and reconcile month-end report from Accounting.
  • Problem resolution for invoicing discrepancies from suppliers.
  • Customer service representative for retail customer.
  • Write PO's for Direct Container orders based off customer acknowledgement
  • Receive and review shipping documents to Lenoir from suppliers.
  • Entry of container numbers on mainframe for shipments from suppliers
  • Communicate with suppliers in reference to maintain on time shipping.
  • Analyze vendor open orders report using high proficient Excel skills to report out order status.
  • Analyze using Excel-order status, ship time metrics, and vendor evaluation.
  • Adjustments to order quantities on mainframe based upon actual shipment information.
  • Identify accounts requiring pre-payment of invoices and provide information to Accounting.
  • Pay all related freight invoices
  • Back-up resource for team members, as necessary.
  • Other duties as necessary.




Requirements:


  • High school graduation.
  • Possess solid computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel) and experience with an ERP system.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and written, professionally with peers and management, internally and externally.
