The Supplier Development Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in supplier relationships and compliance while optimizing purchasing processes. This role bridges purchasing, quality assurance, and compliance, contributing to operational efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance improvement

Is this job for you ?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business required
  • 3+ years of experience within supply chain, procurement, or supplier quality roles, preferably in the manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace sector
  • Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 and reviewing customer and supplier manuals for compliance.

To make sure nothing is forgotten

Essential functions will include the following:

Purchasing and Supplier Coordination



  • Contract and Documentation Management: Review and manage supplier contracts, including NDAs, Master Frame Agreements, bid waivers, and supplier charter acknowledgments.
  • Supplier Assessments: Conduct supplier risk assessments, manage supplier scorecards, and evaluate supplier certifications.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate supplier audits, ensuring adherence to embargoes, environmental and social responsibility, liability insurance, and industrial risk prevention protocols.
  • Cost and Spend Optimization: Analyze purchasing spend and price trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Develop and formalize purchasing-related processes with a focus on digital transformation to elevate departmental practices to best-in-class standards.


Quality Assurance and Compliance



  • Certificate and Inspection Administration: Manage Certificates of Conformity for received materials and create, monitor, and control inspection sheets.
  • Supplier Quality Monitoring: Oversee supplier manuals and corrective action plans for reported issues in coordination with Quality. Participate in second-party supplier audits and safeguard supplier quality system certificates.
  • Standards and Procedures: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards, and client-specific requirements.
  • Purchase Order Oversight: Add quality-related restrictions to purchase order notes and monitor compliance with legal and environmental requirements


Digital Transformation and Continuous Improvement



  • Process Development: Develop and implement purchasing procedures emphasizing automation and digital tools. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within supplier relationships and internal operations.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics to interpret supplier performance and trigger improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with quality and environmental management systems
