Advisor Solutions Due Diligence Manager
The Advisor Solutions Due Diligence Manager ("Manager") is responsible for managing a team of associates who as part of their day-to-day job functions conduct investment management oversight of third-party investment managers. This includes managing the assessment and approval of investment programs, maintaining records of any exceptions to programs, completing initial and annual due diligence questionnaires/packets across 140+ Partner firms and Registered Investment Advisers ("RIAs), maintaining current policies, procedures, providing management reporting and attending partner meetings as needed. The Manager is accountable for strengthening the third-party due diligence process and control environment, minimize exceptions, streamline third-party due diligence, monitoring, and reporting.
The Manager collaborates with business partners to enhance the third-party investment management due diligence process, maintain accurate coding across systems, and enhance compensating control capabilities. They maintain current and updated policies and procedures and provide Management and Committee reporting as needed. They must exhibit strong analytical, communications and organizational skills which are essential for fulfilling the investment due diligence manager duties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Managing the onboarding and assessment of new Partners and Investment Programs.
- Implementing monitoring, meetings, exception tracking, collecting data points and due diligence questionnaires across Partners and RIAs.
- Escalation point for all third-party Investment Manager related issues.
- Accurate coding on impacted systems, platforms, and feeds.
- Strengthening due diligence process, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinating Audit, Regulatory and other testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant experience
- 5 years Investment related experience
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
