JOB SUMMARY Works under general supervision to Logistics Manager. This position has the responsibility and authority to provide a professional level of support to internal and external customers with repair requests and status inquiries. Must possess a basic knowledge of hospital equipment and of the policies/procedures involved with the repair or replacement of equipment returned for repair. Responsible for interfacing with customers, hospital staff, vendors, and Biomed department technicians to handle a variety of issues relating specifically to the repair or maintenance of clinical assets/hospital equipment maintained and used by healthcare providers for patient care. This function is accomplished in a team-oriented environment where independent decision making, and minimal supervision are the norm. Must possess a high level of communication and customer service skill, encompassed with the passion to help others and resolve issues. This position requires results-oriented focus and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and a readiness to adapt to changing department needs. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
High School Diploma or GED and
2 years relevant experience in customer service/support of medical equipment repair. and Knowledge of various medical devices and
Associate's Degree
Knowledge of Supply Chain functionality and Experience with Purchasing platforms (PeopleSoft, Jaggaer, eProcurement, ERP systems) and Experience with work order applications (Service Now, Nuvolo, AIMS) JOB DUTIES
