A Quality Engineer engages cross functionally, with engineering teams, production, field service and other technical groups to report, confirm and improve the quality of repaired components and repair processes. Gathers data, performs analysis, reports findings and drives or assists with implementing corrective actions to resolve issues found with product being repaired, repair processes, and field related issues. Reports quality metrics and progress of key projects / issues to cross functional teams, suppliers and management. Drives continual improvement of repair processes, performance of repaired product, quality systems. Processes and resolves complaints from our customers as well as assist with supplier related failures. Performs / assists with audit of new repair projects, repair suppliers and other DN repair facilities.
