Collections Supervisor - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

- Oversees the Credit Solutions Specialists while aiding management by directing daily activities of the Credit Solutions Team to ensure acceptable delinquency rates while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to collection practices.
- Performs Credit Solutions Specialist and Credit Solutions Representative duties daily to support operations.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for the Credit Solutions Team.
- Collaborates with the Credit Solutions Manager to support, train, evaluate, and enhance the operations of the Credit Solutions Department, including the support in oversight of negative, delinquent, or charged-off accounts.
- Helps handle escalations, providing resolutions to complex account situations.
- Maintains a solid understanding of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and prepares periodic reports on team-specific tasks and goals.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory and supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience grasping the intricacies of collections practices, rules, regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Basic understanding of collection policies, procedures and related laws and regulations.
- Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Ability to work in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical and negotiating skills.
- Must be highly detailed.
