Warehouse Shipping Associate

Shipping Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, packaging, and shipping orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers. This role involves maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

What you'll do:

* Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

* Shipping Coordination: Process shipping labels, documents, and arrange transportation with carriers to meet deadlines.

* Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, reporting discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.

* Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before shipment and ensure proper packaging for safe transit.

* Equipment Use: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (if certified).

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory transactions in the company's system.

* Team Collaboration: Work with the receiving and inventory teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any logistical issues.

* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and operational protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.

* Other responsibilities may be assigned.

What you'll bring:

* Experience: 6 months-1 year of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience preferred.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

* Good communication and teamwork abilities.

* Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.

* Certifications: Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.
