Job Title: Application Development Location(s): Alpharetta, GA We are working on a Portfolio Management System to build the next generation of systems using latest technologies and techniques and hence are looking for a software engineer to help drive the development. Functional: Should have some experience in financial domain. Understanding of portfolio management functions is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects. Technical: At least 5 years of hand-on DB2/SQL, Stored Procedures , COBOL,CICS and JCL. Experience on trading or financial services platform Working in Agile model (15 members team) and supports batch (rotational) along with DEV work. Good with technical knowledge (basics) - SQL Queries, Stored Procedure (native/external), error handling - Abends / SQLCODE , GTTs , DB2 and SQL Server, COBOL / CICS and JCL. Experience with MQ and XML Parsing. Good knowledge of Concurrency and high volume server side development Involvement in full Software Development Life Cycle of the project.
