Job Title: Security Engineer Location(s): New York, NY Overview Cabling Infrastructure & Technology is a growing and innovative global team that design and implements ICT infrastructure to support portfolio of corporate offices. Operational excellence is at the forefront of our approach, raising the bar across all aspects of the project delivery process to provide our customers with a seamless IT delivery experience. For the AMER region we are looking for an exceptional individual with a successful track record and progressive career history in low voltage structured cabling, as a Design Engineer/Project Manager. This role will be office based on site at WAS19 Arlington, VA, US for 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with our ICT design consultants and internal customers to standardize our structured cabling and server room designs to accelerate delivery and lower cost across our portfolio of building launches. This role requires an experienced professional with a background in structured cabling and has experience of generating designs as well as providing effective oversight. The Design Engineer/PM is expected to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive best practices and establish tools, and standards consistent with large corporate deployments. The candidate will be required to have more than a cabling background. It is expected they will also have a strong IT background with knowledge of other facets of an IT network, such as networking, WiFi, AV, Security, PDU, UPS and Smart Building technologies. As a member of our global team, they will engage with key stakeholders and vendors across various disciplines to ensure the ICT infrastructure is compliant with client & Industry standards and ready for commencement of building occupation. They are the right person for this job if they have a solid end user focus and a passion for producing high-quality deliverables. They must be a self-starter and a critical thinker to deliver results with an intense curiosity and drive for learning. They must demonstrate the ability to efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables and resources across multiple projects and working groups. This position requires them to manage stakeholder expectations, budgets, schedules and scope. They must exhibit bias for action, and not rely on others to show them the path forward.
