Where you'll be:

This position will be based in Anderson, South Carolina, this role is onsite.

All about the role:

In this role you will be reporting to the Sr Director of Manufacturing Engineering Taste NA for Electrolux Group. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineering/Technology Manager will champion 1-5 yr improvement plans, direct the activities of technical and engineering team members and support the industrialization of new products and processes. The successful candidate will be both a technical leader and a leader of people, fostering collaboration and team building while upholding the organization's core values. You will work closely with the operations and product organization on the development and continuous improvement of a best-in-class manufacturing organization.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, manage and develop a group of technical resources in the areas of manufacturing engineering. Ensure that machine capability and process controls are implemented to support new products and technologies.

  • Develop goals and work plans for technical resources to support capacity, NPI, re-engineering and team development.

  • Work directly with operations, RD and purchasing in a team environment for problem solving, buy-in and support.

  • Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency. Lead investigations and initiate corrective actions for identified problems and deficiencies.

  • Monitors KPIs for the engineering department and determines corrective measures to be taken.

  • Evaluate and implement development strategies for the group to ensure technical skills are adequate to support current and future manufacturing processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in product cost, quality, cycle time, process improvement, and machine availability by enhancing the capability of existing processes and eliminate waste.

  • Champion for problem solving chronic factory and process issues.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Engineering bachelor's degree.

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, groups or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to establish working relations across groups.

  • Ability to develop manufacturing strategies and analysis with factory leadership teams.

  • Demonstrated experience leading projects to completion and use of project management tools.
