This position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The Technical Recruiter will contribute their knowledge and expertise to help develop Indigo IT's recruitment processes, best practices and standards. They will be responsible for supporting Business Development/Proposal staffing, talent pipeline building, and active recruiting needs. The ideal candidate is influential and innovative, as this is a critical and highly-visible role that directly impacts the company's continued growth and success. The Technical Recruiter will act as a business partner and advisor to company executives and hiring managers throughout the full recruitment process from requirement identification and candidate sourcing/screening to selection and offer negotiation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Business Development and Proposal staffing efforts: building a pipeline of specific talent/skillsets, Letter of Intent (LOI) recruiting, identification of Key Personnel for perspective opportunities
- Partner with hiring managers and upper management to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and hiring needs
- Source and attract potential candidates through social media, job posts, resume databases, referrals and personal network for Indigo IT job openings
- Build effective sourcing strategies to recruit niche technical talent, both cleared and uncleared
- Find creative ways to engage passive job seekers for both current and future job openings
- Act as a company ambassador by providing excellent customer service and relationship management throughout the recruiting lifecycle- ensure an optimal candidate experience
- Manage hiring managers' expectations by providing consultative guidance on realistic timelines, job market data, candidate salary expectations, etc.
- Perform detailed candidate screens (in person, over the phone and via Zoom) to identify top quality candidates to be presented to hiring managers for consideration
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for multiple positions simultaneously
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, perform reference checks, negotiate offer letters, etc.
- Track and measure recruiting KPIs to diagnose performance and set goals quarterly goals
- Properly document and track candidates and open positions within Indigo's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Paycor
- Attend recruiting and industry events to promote Indigo IT and attract qualified candidates for current and future job openings
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- 1+ years full-lifecycle recruitment experience, ideally supporting IT skillsets
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Staffing agency or government contracting background desired
- Ability to build effective sourcing strategies using multiple tools/resources to identify candidates for specialized roles, both cleared and uncleared
- Demonstrated ability to identify and target passive job seekers using LinkedIn, candidate referrals and personal network
- Hungry/motivated individual with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals, quota, metrics, etc.
- Ability to gauge job seekers' motivations and overall fit for the job in order to best negotiate offers and close desired candidates
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to regularly interact with Hiring Managers, Senior Leadership and C-Level Executives
