Here is how the Director, Total Rewards role will impact our business:

Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing administration/evaluation of EQT's
compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, health and welfare benefits, and
retirement benefits. Works with senior management to ensure that compensation and benefits programs
support the organization's business objectives and aligns with our values.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Drive the philosophy, design, implementation and scaling of a compensation and reward strategy
    that effectively attracts, motivates, and retains great talent.
  • Administer the executive compensation program and overall compensation philosophy, including
    executive pay.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit programs, policies, and
    guidelines including ROI.
  • Manage the relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure adherence to
    the company's plans.
  • Work in partnership with external vendors and consultants in both compensation and benefit
    areas to ensure the company is positioned competitively and stays current on trends/changes in
    the industry.
  • Lead HR system and implementation, looking for opportunities to leverage technology to
    streamline and improve processes, workflow, utilization, and reporting.
  • Develop, communicate, and administer competitive total rewards strategies, includingcompensation, benefits, retirement, and other employee programs, that are cost effective and
    consistent with market trends and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal legislation and other government and
    regulatory requirements related to benefits and compensation programs.
  • Oversee the review, communication, and implementation of the annual benefit programs open
    enrollment process and the annual total compensation review.
  • Provide leadership to and direct supervision of total rewards and payroll team members through
    effective coaching and performance management.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with Accounting/Finance, Legal and other teams, as
    necessary.
  • Directs all aspects of payroll processing operations.
  • Prepare slides and materials for Board of Director meetings.
  • Drafts all compensation tables and related disclosures for EQT's annual proxy statement.


Required Experience and Skills:



  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
    preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years' combination of compensation, benefits, payroll, HR and HRIS experience
    in a publicly traded corporation.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, PPACA and emerging regulatory issues required.
  • Experience with Payroll System Integrations and Payroll Tax Compliance.
  • Ability to professionally handle confidential material and associated issues.
  • Strong team player and willingness to assist team members, as needed.



Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, and New York unless willing to relocate.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
