Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. ("Queen"), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally's jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally's portfolio. Bally's will also become the successor of Queen's significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

The Receiving and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all food, beverage, and non-food deliveries are received, inspected, and meet department standards and par levels while maintaining effective filing systems for F&B purchases.

Responsibilities:



  • Assists all departments in all aspects of purchasing and receiving supplies of all types including stocking, rotating, and organizing storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Inspects all items received ensuring that every order received meets property standards. Ensures that the delivery matches the items ordered. Documents all discrepancies thoroughly.

  • Participates in monthly inventories. Works with F&B operations to reduce loss through spoilage, damage, and theft.



  • Participates in receiving deliveries, including signing for products received, verifying the physical count of each item, and adjusting the vendor packing slip/invoice (if required) so that it properly reflects all products received.



  • Ensures that receiving is performed daily in the purchasing software, all receiving documents, packing slip/invoices are scanned/saved in the respective shared file and all physical receiving documentation is sent to Accounts Payable each workday.



  • Keeps the receiving areas clean and organized. Helps with snow removal to facilitate vendor access to the delivery areas.



  • Ensures that all goods received are moved and stored in the appropriate locations. Helps replenish bibs and consumables for self-service beverage machines.



  • Maintains adequate warehouse inventory and delivers items requested by the departments.



  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the purchasing software application used by the property.



  • Adheres strictly to Health Code Standards and Polices regarding food service, food storage, cleaning, and sanitation.



  • Responds courteously, efficiently, and accurately in interactions with vendors/suppliers and property management.



  • Assists internal departments as needed with the highest level of professionalism and integrity while providing excellent service and support. Must always maintain confidentiality.



  • Always adhere to all regulatory, company, and departmental regulations, policies, and procedures.




Qualifications:



  • One (1) year of related experience preferred.
  • Food handling experience desired
  • Knowledge of casino/hospitality or restaurant operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory methods and practices preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor, with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, leadership, and peers.
  • Computer skills required; must be proficient in spreadsheets, reports, and internet searches for researching products and suppliers.
  • Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Lifting and carrying is required. Lifting items weighing as much as 60 pounds are required.
  • Must be able to understand and work with detailed financial information, data, and basic math functions.
  • Requires a flexible schedule in order to work varied shifts based on business needs.
  • Machinery used: Pallet jack, dolly, hand truck. Forklift Certified Preferred.
