RN - General Surgical Floor Part Time Nights

Overview:

Mercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the Surgical 3B unit! The Surgical 3B unit has 32 patient beds, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1-6 on days and nights. This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as:

• Head to toe assessments
• Telemetry monitoring
• NG tubes
• IV insertions
• CBI's
• Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy care
• Drains
• Wound Care

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program. Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
