Description Collaborates with Case Management to provide clinical information for utilization reviews, ensuring certification/approval of in-patient and post-discharge services. Communicates status with Care Management, arranges patient transfers, and acts as a key contact between Care Management, admissions, and payers. Coordinates and tracks communications (e.g., IM letters, Denial Letters, patient choice forms) and regularly updates the Care Management team. Obtains authorizations for admissions, documents information in the financial system, and works with Revenue Cycle to ensure accurate inpatient encounters. Coordinates reviews and inquiries with payors manages bed availability, and maintains a database of referral sources. Manages multiple inquiries, presents referrals based on location and services, and provides follow-up on active or pending inquiries. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
