Starting Salary is $42,350.00 annually ($20.00/hour). Because work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week! Salary offered is dependent on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.

Responsibilities

This is a limited tenure employment opportunity lasting 12 months.

  • Provides administrative, technical, catastrophe and facility support in various areas within the department
  • Utilizes software programs for mail, asset tracking, completed print work, inventory, maintenance, etc.
  • Serves as a Liaison and resource for business partners, and vendor inquiries and will troubleshoot for resolution
  • Verifies inventory records, processes invoices and initiates payment process
  • Provides support and assistance to employees handling facility and/or technical responsibilities
  • Completes, prioritizes, resolves and/or escalates tactical work, routine problems, complex maintenance, repairs and root cause analysis
  • Troubleshoots and assist with setup of IT and Audio-Visual equipment
  • Assist with build out of modules including sit/stands
  • Assists with creating or updating documentation for procedures and processes relating to mail, maintenance, Audio-Visual, or IT support
  • Coordinates implementation of small to medium sized projects
  • Participates and assists in the creation of technical solutions for high level problems
  • Assists in developing and implementing process improvements
  • Assists in the training of employees and/or external associates
  • Assists with all aspects of moves and execution
  • Assists with all aspects of mail operations

Qualifications

  • Safely produce high volumes of work on daily basis within a production environment
  • Must complete and maintain State Farm safety, regulatory, and compliance courses specific to the role
  • Job entails routine, repetitive work as well as circumstantial duties based on priority
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds at any given time, reaching, stacking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for prolonged periods
  • Required to demonstrate proficiency and perform any function within assigned unit(s)
  • May require overnight travel
  • May be required to provide catastrophe support
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license to lawfully operate vehicles as directed by State Farm
  • May be required to work beyond normal business hours, including after hours, weekends and holidays based on workload
  • May be required to be on-call periodically
