Package Coordinator

The Package Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the packaging and shipping of products from the client location. The Package Coordinator will work on-site at a client facility and service as liaison to ensure that outbound shipments are properly prepared, labeled, and shipped according to the client requirements. Acting as a liaison to the client, the Package Coordinator will respond to service delivery inquiries.

Enter customer shipment orders into our TMS (XLR)
• Receive and review customer orders to determine package requirements including # of people needed and vehicle type/size
• Ensure products and packaging are in good condition and partner with client to repackage or replace
• Labeling packages with accurate shipping information (Consignee Name, Address, Service Level)
• Coordinating with Dispatch to scheduling pickups & deliveries
• Tracking and monitoring status of shipments to ensure on-time service
• Resolving any discrepancies of product or piece count
• Communicating with customers and client on shipment statuses or any delays
• Receive and document any inbound shipments (returns) and alert client once received
• The wage range for this position is $17.93-$27.85 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Other Skills We Hope to See

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 0-3 years of package coordinator experiences (required)
• Experience in customer service or retail environment (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills along with customer service and attention to detail needed
• Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule
• Computer skills

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Minimum lifting of 50 Ibs for a duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
• Required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but the employee should be capable of working in an open work space, closely with team members.
