Bindery Specialists perform all finishing activities (cutting, folding, padding, perfect or saddle-binding, etc.) required for the departments' printing orders. They set up and operate equipment such as cutters, collators, folders, paper drills, saddle-stitchers, shrink-wrappers, and padding machines, and perform hand-bindery work. They prepare jobs for shipment/delivery.

Bindery Specialists perform all finishing activities (cutting, folding, padding, perfect or saddle-binding, etc.) required for the departments' printing orders. They set up and operate equipment such as cutters, collators, folders, paper drills, saddle-stitchers, shrink-wrappers, and padding machines, and perform hand-bindery work. They prepare jobs for shipment/delivery. This position monitors, requisitions and receives paper and envelopes for both digital and offset presses. Goals are achieved independently and are established in coordination with the Senior Director of Print Services. Responsibilities:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $21.00 - $27.00 hourly, commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt level, benefited position. Licensure: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of bindery equipment involve repetitive loading, and unloading materials of various weights from various heights.
