Job Description

As an RBC Clear Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our clients and growing our RBC Clear Cash Management business. Leveraging your deep treasury, client and product knowledge, you will maintain and enhance our excellent client service to a designated portfolio of top tier clients across the NBFI (Non Banking Financial Institutions) and Sponsor industry verticals while developing partnerships with Sales, Relationship Managers, Client Service & Product Teams.

What will you do?

  • Develop, maintain and deepen client relationships; understand their business to service their needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Become the trusted client advisor offering client service and strategic treasury advice
  • Grow revenue and client balances in line with business growth plans, closing deals and contributing to positive client satisfaction results
  • Promote use of our award-winning digital platform and self-service tools to reduce number of incoming enquiries
  • Collaborate with bankers and clients at senior and strategic levels to proactively provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework
  • Develop internal partnerships (e.g. Sales, Relationship Managers, Client Service, Product)
  • Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification, cross-sell and solution positioning.
  • Participate in a community of sharing practice and development of junior resources
  • Identify and escalate potential risk associated with Client activities
  • Record all client interactions (e.g. calls, meetings, issues, proactive communications)

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of cash management/treasury, and relationship management experience - particularly NBFI and / or Sponsor industries
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
  • Proven success in developing new business, utilizing strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and across the RBC Capital Markets ecosystem
  • Dual-ability to work effectively as both a team player and alone with a self-starter mindset
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $135,000- - $155,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
