What You Will Do as a Business Development Representatives (BDR) Manager:

The Business Development Representatives (BDR) Manager is accountable for leading and mentoring a team of BDRs focused on growing a set of established mid-tier reseller accounts (<$50,000 in annual sales) and identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the reseller channel. This team will engage with customers through digital communication and phone calls to promote Workwear Outfitters' products and services. This role requires strategic planning, effective team leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional departments to support and accelerate company growth.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Lead and drive sales by managing and guiding the assigned BDR team, focusing on skill development and implementing strategies to meet Workwear sales targets.
  • Oversee, mentor, and inspire a team of BDRs to achieve both individual and team objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, offering consistent feedback and coaching to support growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure business development efforts are aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct targeted training sessions to elevate the BDR team's skills and industry knowledge.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce sales costs.
  • Plan, direct, and ensure that BDRs effectively execute call agendas as outlined by sales leadership and business teams.

Skills for Success:

  • 6+ years of experience managing a team of inside sellers or BDR's
  • BA/BS in business related field
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of success in a leadership role. Including managing a team of remote sellers.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize CRM (Salesforce.com) and sales enablement platforms to support sales growth
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to achieve sales goals
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational and operational skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, PowerBI)
